Interior
A very versatile floor plan lends itself well to both passage making and living aboard. Storage throughout is exemplary, as is access to all the ship's machinery and equipment. With two separate companionways and two heads, two completely private staterooms are possible.
The pilothouse has an inside steering station, a full sized chart table, and a chart table seat to starboard. There is a single pilot berth on the port side, a convenient and safe place for off-watch crew to sleep. The well designed pilothouse contains storage lockers and drawers with more than enough space for spare parts and equipment. A small vice is located under the pilothouse ladder along with a work area and drawers for tools and parts.
The aft head with separate stall shower is a great place not only for bathing, but for getting out of wet foul weather gear, and for hanging wet gear where it will drain and dry. The galley is efficient, has plenty of locker and drawer space, and has a large, well-insulated, top opening Sea Frost refrigerator and separate freezer. The two burner Broadwater “Cutter” stainless steel propane stove with oven and broiler are fully gimbaled for safe use at sea. A giant pantry area is located just ajacent to the galley for dry goods and canned goods storage.
The salon can comfortably dine and entertain eight guests with a large fold-out mahogany table. The beautifully curved mahogany trim accents the large comfortable seating area. All of the cushions are covered in luxurios suede microfiber, providing beauty, comfort and stain resistance. Three water tanks are located under the salon seating and all seat backs open for additional storage. Large storage areas are also located under the salon floors.
The forward stateroom has its own head, and the large comfortable V-berth has a six-inch latex foam mattress covered by a fitted memory foam mattress pad and two sets of custom fitted Egyptian cotton sheets.
The entire boat can be cooled or heated with two reverse cycle air conditioning and heating units. One is located in the locker behind the pilothouse berth, and the main cabin unit is located under the forward salon seating.
